Animal Rescue with Drones
The project “ricercanimalismarriti.it” was developed in collaboration with DRONI2A to create an innovative service for searching and rescuing lost animals using drone technology.
Identified Problem:
Lost animals often find themselves in vast or hard-to-access areas, making their quick recovery challenging. There was an emerging need for a specialized service in Italy that was not being effectively met.
Proposed Solution:
The creation of a platform using drones to quickly cover large areas was proposed, facilitating the location and tracking of lost animals until their recovery.
Development and Execution:
Concept and Design: Antonio Sotillo led the concept and website design.
Technical Implementation:
DRONI2A conducted tests with various types of animals to ensure the service’s effectiveness. The site is intuitive and accessible, ensuring that users can quickly and efficiently manage the process of requesting, searching, and rescuing their pets.
Results and Impact:
The integration of advanced technology has positioned “ricercanimalismarriti.it” as an innovative service in animal rescue, offering a safer and more efficient option for results.
Conclusion:
The collaboration between Sotillo and DRONI2A has resulted in a service that not only improves animal welfare but also provides peace of mind to pet owners. This project demonstrated how technology can be effectively applied to solve significant social problems.
